I cut a 12&#8243; long spool in two pieces and made new 1\/2&#8243; bottoms for it, using blanks from BBC Steel in Canby, OR, which were machined by Moody Machine Works in Milwaukie, OR.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Subsequently welded bottom spools became available, as well as 6&#8243; spools, so that you can use a clamped end cap for the tank bottom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here is the cost to build the Lil Terp at the time.&nbsp; As you can see it was under $650, which was a price ma and pa could better afford.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"525\" height=\"374\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/graywolfslair.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Lil-Terp-BOM-1-jpg.webp?resize=525%2C374&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1686\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/graywolfslair.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Lil-Terp-BOM-1-jpg.webp?w=640&amp;ssl=1 640w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/graywolfslair.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Lil-Terp-BOM-1-jpg.webp?resize=300%2C214&amp;ssl=1 300w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/graywolfslair.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/Lil-Terp-BOM-1-jpg.webp?resize=600%2C428&amp;ssl=1 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 525px) 100vw, 525px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Bill of Materials<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As it came to pass, a reader brought by Tamisium TE-175 seeking process support and we were able to run it alongside the Lil Terp.&nbsp;
